Condensation-reducing incubation cover

A sample tube array cover comprising:

• a panel;
• a plurality of protrusions extending downward from the panel, each protrusion comprising:
• an upper wall dimensioned to rest against an inner edge of an upper lip of a respective sample tube, and
• a generally vertical lower wall extending below the upper wall and spaced from an adjacent portion of an inner wall of the respective sample tube by a gap sized to create a capillary seal in the presence of a liquid contained in the respective sample tube.

A sample tube array cover comprising:

• a panel;
• and
• a plurality of protrusions extending downward from the panel, each protrusion comprising:
• a conical upper wall dimensioned to rest against an inner edge of an upper lip of a respective sample tube,
• a lower wall extending downwardly from the conical upper wall, the lower wall being parallel with an adjacent inner wall of the respective sample tube and spaced from the adjacent inner wall by a gap, and
• wherein each protrusion does not include supplemental seals for sealing with the respective sample tube.
