Multi-channel memory and power supply-driven channel selection

An apparatus comprising:

• a memory device comprising:
• a plurality of non-volatile memory cells;
• a first interface configured to provide data to or from the plurality of non-volatile memory cells and a first bus;
• a second interface configured to provide data to or from the plurality of non-volatile memory cells and a second bus, wherein the second bus is separate from the first bus;
• and
• a state combining block configured to enable the first interface in response to detection of a presence of a first power supply and to enable the second interface in response to detection of a presence of a second power supply, respectively.

An electronically-implemented method of providing data, the method comprising:

• providing data to or from a first bus and a plurality of non-volatile memory cells of a memory device via first interface;
• providing data to or from a second bus and the plurality of non-volatile memory cells via a second interface, wherein the second bus is separate from the first bus;
• and
• selectively enabling the first interface or the second interface in response to detection of a presence of a first power supply or a second power supply, respectively.
