Abstract
There is provided a wind power installation comprising a rotor to which rotor blades can be fitted, an electric generator having a generator stator and a generator rotor, and a plurality of displacement units. The first end of the displacement unit is fastened to the generator stator and the second end of the displacement unit is releasably fastened to the generator rotor. The displacement units each have a respective hydraulic cylinder, the deflection of which is controllable so that by actuation of the displacement unit the generator rotor is displaced relative to the generator stator.
Claims10
A wind power installation comprising:
- a rotor configured to have rotor blades fixed thereto;
- an electric generator having a generator stator and a generator rotor, the generator rotor being coupled to the rotor;
- and
- a plurality of displacement units having a first end that is releasably fastened to the generator stator and a second end releaseably fastened to the generator rotor, each of the displacement units having a respective hydraulic cylinder, wherein a deflection of each of the hydraulic cylinders is controllable and causes a displacement of the generator rotor relative to the generator stator rotation of the rotor is effected.
A method of rotating a rotor of a wind power installation for at least one of attaching and removing rotor blades of a wind power installation, wherein the wind power installation has an electric generator having a generator stator and a generator rotor, wherein the rotor is coupled to the generator rotor, the method comprising:
- fastening a first end of a plurality of displacement units to the generator stator, each of the displacement units including a hydraulic cylinder;
- fastening a second end of the plurality of displacement units to the generator rotor;
- actuating the hydraulic cylinder to achieve deflection of the hydraulic cylinder;
- removing the second end of a set of the plurality of displacement units from the generator rotor;
- actuating the hydraulic cylinders of the set of displacement units to contract the hydraulic cylinders;
- fastening the second end of the second set of displacement units to the generator rotor;
- and
- actuating the hydraulic cylinders to deflect the hydraulic cylinder and cause relative displacement between the generator stator and the generator rotor, thereby rotating the rotor.
A displacement unit comprising:
- a first end configured to be releasably fastened to a generator stator of an electric generator of a wind power installation;
- a second end configured to be releasably fastened to a generator rotor of the electric generator, wherein the generator rotor is coupled to a rotor of the wind power installation;
- and
- a hydraulic cylinder located between the first end and the second end, the hydraulic cylinder configured to actuate and cause a relative displacement between a generator rotor and a generator stator,
- wherein the relative displacement between the generator rotor and the generator stator causes the rotor of the wind power installation to rotate.
