Induction heating apparatus and power generation system comprising the same

An induction heating apparatus that heats a heating medium, comprising:

• a rotor having a rotation shaft;
• and
• a stator having a heating portion disposed at a distance from said rotor,
• a magnetic flux generating portion that generates magnetic flux in a direction of said heating portion being provided in said rotor to be opposed to said heating portion,
• said heating portion being formed of a composite material of a magnetic material and a conductive material, and having a structure in which a magnetic material portion and a conductive material portion are combined,
• when said magnetic flux generating portion is in a position opposed to said heating portion, a cross-sectional area of said magnetic material portion being smaller than an area of linkage of magnetic flux generated by said magnetic flux generating portion in said heating portion,
• said conductive material portion being disposed to surround a periphery of said magnetic material portion, and
• a flow passage in which said heating medium circulates being provided in said heating portion.
