Rotatable basket extractor

A rotatable basket extractor comprising:

• a housing having a loading section, an extraction section, a drainage section, and an unloading section;
• a rotor positioned within said housing, said rotor being rotatable about a central axis, said rotor including a shaft and a plurality of baskets extending radially outward from said shaft for receiving feed material;
• a screen positioned below at least one of said plurality of baskets;
• a feed inlet positioned within said loading section for introducing said feed material into at least one of said plurality of baskets;
• a feed outlet positioned within said unloading section, wherein said feed material exits said housing through said feed outlet, and said plurality of baskets being rotatable between said feed inlet and said feed outlet;
• at least one trough positioned below said screen for collecting miscella from said feed material;
• at least one sprayer positioned above said baskets within said extraction section, said at least one sprayer operatively connected to one of said at least one trough;
• and
• a suction device, wherein at least a portion of said suction device is located within said drainage section and positioned below said screen, wherein said suction device pulls vapor through said feed material contained within at least one of said plurality of baskets.
