Biologically active extracts of one or more of Vigna sp., Terminalia sp or Cocos nucifera and compositions comprising one or more of the extracts for the maintenance and improvement of the health and/or appearance of the skin and/or an epidermal appendage are described.

A composition comprising a biologically active extract of one or more of Vigna sp., Terminalia sp. or Cocos nucifera for maintaining and improving the health and/or appearance of the skin and/or an epidermal appendage.
A method for maintaining and improving the health and/or appearance of the skin and/or an epidermal appendage, the method comprising applying to the skin and/or an epidermal appendage of a subject a composition comprising a biologically active extract of one or more of Vigna sp., Terminalia sp. or Cocos nucifera.
Use of a composition comprising a biologically active extract of one or more of Vigna sp., Terminalia sp. or Cocos nucifera for the manufacture of a medicament for maintaining and improving the health and/or appearance of the skin and/or an epidermal appendage.
