Manufacturing method for multidimensional polymer, and multidimensional polymer

A multidimensional polymer production method for producing a multidimensional polymer containing a repeating unit derived from a first monomer and a repeating unit derived from a second monomer different from the first monomer, said multidimensional polymer production method comprising the steps of:

• (a) using a first catalyst and a second catalyst;
• and
• (b) carrying out a polymerization reaction in the presence of the first catalyst, the second catalyst, the first monomer, the second monomer, and a chain shuttling agent in an identical reaction system,
• the first catalyst more selectively catalyzing a positionally selective or stereoselective polymerization reaction of the first monomer per se than catalyzing a polymerization reaction of the second monomer per se and a polymerization reaction of the first monomer and the second monomer, and
• the second catalyst more selectively catalyzing a positionally selective or stereoselective polymerization reaction of the second monomer per se than catalyzing a polymerization reaction of the first monomer per se and the polymerization reaction of the first monomer and the second monomer.
