Abstract
An indexing system for graph data. In particular implementations, the indexing system provides for denormalization and replica index functionality to improve query performance.
Claims20
An apparatus, comprising:
- an index stored in one or more memory devices, the index comprising a plurality of index entries, each entry comprising a term and a document identifier;
- wherein at least one of the index entries comprises a document identifier and a composite term, the composite term comprising two or more data object attributes;
- wherein each of the document identifiers correspond to a data object of a plurality of data objects;
- and
- one or more index servers each operative to:
- access a query comprising one or more attribute values;
- search the index against the one or more attribute values to identify one or more data objects that match the query;
- and
- return object identifiers corresponding to the one or more identified data objects that match the query.

A method, comprising:
- maintaining an index stored in one or more memory devices, the index comprising a plurality of index entries, each entry comprising a term and a document identifier;
- wherein at least one of the index entries comprises a document identifier and a composite term, the composite term comprising two or more data object attributes;
- wherein each of the document identifiers correspond to a data object of a plurality of data objects;
- and
- one or more index servers,
- accessing a query comprising one or more attribute values;
- searching the index against the one or more attribute values to identify one or more data objects that match the query;
- and
- returning object identifiers corresponding to the one or more identified data objects that match the query.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions operative to cause one or more processors to:
- access a query comprising one or more attribute values;
- search an index against the one or more attribute values to identify one or more data objects that match the query, wherein the index stored in one or more memory devices, the index comprising a plurality of index entries, each entry comprising a term and a document identifier;
- wherein at least one of the index entries comprises a document identifier and a composite term, the composite term comprising two or more data object attributes;
- wherein each of the document identifiers correspond to a data object of a plurality of data objects;
- and
- return object identifiers corresponding to the one or more identified data objects that match the query.
