Abstract
In a trajectory correction method and apparatus for k-space data points in magnetic resonance imaging, a magnetic resonance data acquisition unit is operated to execute a sampling sequence to obtain k-space to be corrected. Empirical points are selected used to divide k-space to be corrected into a central region and a peripheral region. The trajectories of the data points in the central region and the peripheral region are corrected and the sampling sequence is executed again, with the corrected trajectories, to obtain corrected k-space.
Claims11
A trajectory correction method for k-space data points in magnetic resonance imaging, comprising:
- operating a magnetic resonance data acquisition unit to execute a sampling sequence to obtain k-space to be corrected;
- in a processor, automatically selecting empirical points, and using the empirical points to divide k-space to be corrected into a central region and a peripheral region;
- in said processor, automatically respectively correcting the trajectories of the data points in said central region and said peripheral region;
- and
- operating said data acquisition unit to execute sampling sequence again, with the corrected trajectories, to obtain corrected k-space.
A trajectory correction apparatus for k-space data points in magnetic resonance imaging, comprising:
- a magnetic resonance data acquisition unit configured to execute a sampling sequence to fill k-space to be corrected, said data acquisition unit exhibiting a gradient delay time that affects said filling of k-space;
- a computerized division unit configured to select empirical points, and to use said empirical points to divide k-space to be corrected into a central region and a peripheral region;
- a computerized correction unit configured to respectively correct trajectories of the data points in said central region and said peripheral region dependent on said gradient delay time;
- and
- said data acquisition unit being configured to again execute said sampling sequence again to fill k-space using trajectories corrected according to said gradient delay time.
