Abstract
A process for dissolving modified cellulose includes contacting modified cellulose solution with at least one non-solvent to form a plurality of modified cellulose particles.
Claims24
A process comprising:
- forming a modified cellulose solution;
- and
- contacting the modified cellulose solution with at least one non-solvent to form a plurality of modified cellulose particles.
A process comprising:
- forming an oxidized cellulose solution;
- and
- contacting the oxidized cellulose solution with at least one non-solvent to form a plurality of oxidized cellulose particles having a degree of oxidation from about 80% to about 120% of the degree of oxidation of the predissolved oxidized cellulose.
A process comprising:
- forming a modified cellulose solution;
- and
- contacting the modified cellulose solution with at least one non-solvent to form a plurality of modified cellulose particles having a molecular weight from about 80% to about 100% of the molecular weight of the predissolved modified cellulose.
