Abstract
In various embodiments, the present invention provides methods of treating and/or preventing pediatric metabolic syndrome comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a pharmaceutical composition comprising eicosapentaenoic acid or a derivative thereof.
Claims24
A method of treating a pediatric metabolic syndrome in a subject in need thereof, the method comprising:
- (a) identifying a subject as having pediatric metabolic syndrome;
- and
- (b) administering to the subject about 1 g to about 4 g of ethyl eicosapentaenoate per day.
