The invention relates to a dirt precipitator (100) for a highly viscous medium, having a housing comprising a front housing element (30; 30′) that comprises at least one inlet channel (33) and a rear housing element (20) that comprises at least one outlet channel (23), mid having a screen wheal (10; 10′) rotatably mounted between the housing elements (20, 30; 30′) having a number n of screen positions disposed in a ring zone, on each of which at least one screen opening (11.1, . . . , 11.12) having at least one screen insert element is provided. The inlet channel (33), the outlet channel (23), and the screen opening (11.1, . . . 11.12) are disposed flush one after the other in at least one working position and form a flow channel, In all positions of the screen wheel (10; 10′), more than 50% of the screen openings (11.1, . . . ,11.12) are always able to be permeated, and are impinged by flow from at least one inlet channel and from which at least one outlet channel leads.

Dirt precipitator for highly viscous media, with a housing with a front housing element that comprises at least one inlet channel, and with a rear housing element that comprises at least one outlet channel, and with a rotatably supported sieve wheel between the housing elements which wheel has a number “n” of sieve positions arranged in a ring zone at which sieve positions at least one sieve opening provided with at least one sieve insert element is provided,
The dirt precipitator according to claim 1, wherein the inlet channel and/or the outlet channel are arranged centrally in the area of the middle axis of the sieve wheel.
The dirt precipitator according to claim 1, wherein the inlet channel and/or the outlet channel are arranged off-center outside of the area of the middle axis of the sieve wheel.
The dirt precipitator according to claim 1, wherein a branch position of the inlet channel from which the partial inlet channels emanate, and/or a collection position at which the partial outlet channels are united on or at the axis or rotation of the sieve wheel.
The dirt precipitator according to claim 1, wherein the partial inlet channels and/or the partial outlet channels have the same flow resistances.
The dirt precipitator according to claim 5, wherein the partial inlet channels and/or the partial outlet channels are equally long and have the same cross section.
The dirt precipitator according to claim 5, wherein in the case of the partial inlet channels and/or the partial outlet channels the ambient temperature can be changed along the partial channel by tempering elements, and length, cross section and ambient temperature can be coordinated with each other in such a manner along the partial channels that the same volume flows result.
The dirt precipitator according to claim 1, wherein at least one partial inlet channel or a partial outlet channel empties into a distributor channel that is arranged in the ring zone or transverses the ring zone and that is connected to several sieve positions, whereby the distributor channel is in the form of an arch or polygonal course.
The dirt precipitator according to claim 1, wherein several partial inlet channels and/or several partial outlet channels emanate in a stellate form from the inlet channel and/or the outlet channel.
The dirt precipitator according to claim 10, wherein a stellate distributor arrangement is provided that empties in at least one arched distributor channel.
The dirt precipitator according to claim 1, wherein a sieve change opening is provided at least one nth sieve position in at least one of the housing elements.
The dirt precipitator according to claim 1, wherein at least one of the sieve positions is designed as a ventilation position, whereby at least one partial outlet channel or a partial inlet channel runs to the ventilation position and whereby an outlet opening extends to the outer side of the housing.
The dirt precipitator according to claim 12, wherein the backwash position and the ventilation position are united at a position, and that at least one outlet opening for ventilation and/or backwash is provided at the position.
The dirt precipitator according to claim 15, wherein the backwash and ventilation channel can be closed by a blocking slide unit.
The dirt precipitator according to claim 1, wherein the partial inlet channels and/or the partial outlet channels widen out like a funnel at their side facing the sieve wheel.
The dirt precipitator according to claim 1, wherein a partial outlet channel adjacent to the sieve change opening and/or to the backwash sieve position in the rear housing element is widened in the direction of the sieve wheel to a non-circular distributor , or that a branch channel follows the partial outlet channel.
The dirt precipitator according to claim 1, wherein the sieve positions are arranged in a common ring zone alternating on two partial circles at a distance from one another.
