Abstract
An infusion unit for use in a machine for dispensing beverages from a single-use capsule is described. The infusion unit has a capsule holder openable into two rotatably connected parts to allow insertion and subsequent ejection of the capsule.
Claims23
A capsule-holding device, comprising:
- a main body comprising a first part and a second part connected or connectible, in use to each other and movable with respect to each other, so that the device is configured to assume
- i) an open configuration, wherein said first part and said second part are spaced apart to allow insertion and/or ejection of a capsule, and
- ii) a closed configuration, wherein said first part and said second part are brought close to each other to define a seat for receiving the capsule,
- the device being configured for use in a machine for dispensing infused beverages extracted from capsules.
