Abstract
An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a composition that includes hyaluronic acid, or its salt or derivative thereof, zinc citrate and an additive selected from the group consisting of grapefruit seed extract, Citricidal™, calcium propionate, sodium benzoate, potassium benzoate, magnesium citrate, proline, raddish root extract, Leucidal™ or 1,2-propanediol.

A composition comprising hyaluronic acid, or its salt or derivative thereof, zinc citrate and one or more antimicrobial agents or additives selected from the group consisting of grapefruit seed extract, Citricidal™, calcium propionate, sodium benzoate, potassium benzoate, magnesium citrate, proline, raddish root extract, anti-microbial peptide derived from the lactic acid bacterium Leuconostoc kimchii, and 1,2-propanediol.
An aqueous-based composition comprising, hyaluronic acid, its salt or derivative thereof, combined with an additive selected from the group consisting of:
- a combination of zinc citrate and grapefruit seed extract, a combination of zinc citrate and Citricidal™, a combination of zinc citrate and calcium propionate, a combination of zinc citrate, calcium propionate and sodium benzoate, a combination of zinc citrate, calcium propionate and potassium benzoate, a combination of zinc citrate, calcium propionate and grapefruit seed extract, a combination of zinc citrate, calcium propionate and Citricidal™, a combination of zinc citrate and potassium benzoate, a combination of zinc citrate and sodium benzoate, a combination of zinc citrate and 1,2-propanediol, a combination of 1,2-propanediol and methyl paraben, a combination of 1,2-propanediol and propyl paraben, a combination of propyl paraben, 1,2-propanediol, calcium propionate and grapefruit seed extract, a combination of zinc citrate and raddish root extract, a combination of zinc citrate and anti-microbial peptide derived from the lactic acid bacterium Leuconostoc kimchii, and a combination of Citracidal™, 1,2-propanedios, zinc citrate and calcium propionate.
An aqueous-based composition comprising:
- hyaluronic acid, its salt or derivative thereof, combined with at least two additives selected from the group consisting of zinc citrate, grapefruit seed extract, Citricidal™, anti-microbial peptide derived from the lactic acid bacterium Leuconostoc kimchii, raddish root extract, proline, magnesium citrate, calcium propionate, sodium benzoate, potassium benzoate, 1,2-propanediol.
An aqueous-based composition comprising, hyaluronic acid, or its salt or derivative thereof, combined with a supplement selected from the group consisting of at least two of zinc citrate, grapefruit seed extract, calcium propionate, anti-microbial peptide derived from the lactic acid bacterium Leuconostoc kimchii, and Citricidal™, proline, chondroitin sulfate and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine.
An aqueous-based composition having a formulation comprising about 0.001% to about 5% by weight hyaluronic acid, or its salt or derivative thereof;
- and
- an antimicrobial agent selected from the group consisting of at least two of zinc citrate, grapefruit seed extract, Citricidal™, calcium propionate, sodium benzoate, potassium benzoate, radish root extract, anti-microbial peptide derived from the lactic acid bacterium Leuconostoc kimchii, and magnesium citrate.
