Fighting Arts Shield Like Device

A martial arts, boxing, mixed martial arts shield like target, hand held training device, which is held in front of a person's body providing protection while presenting developed contoured striking surfaces for an athlete to strike comprising of:

• a head like striking area,
• shoulder like contoured protrusions that span the frontal plane bisected by the longitudinal axis of the shield like device that assists in defining the separation between the head like protrusion and other striking areas of the shield like device;
• and
• a central striking area below the shoulder like protrusions extending distally to the top of the belt like band having a central flat portion running laterally from the shoulder like protrusions to the belt like band representing the chest/stomach contoured striking area having bilateral symmetry;
• and
• two bilaterally symmetrical ribcage like striking areas that horizontally begin at the distill edges of the central striking area to the side projections providing a developed concave striking area that also extends vertically from the bottom edges of the shoulder like protrusions distally to the belt like band;
• and
• two bilaterally symmetrical side projections that extend vertically from the distal edges of the shoulder like protrusions to the top of the belt like band that define the frontal plane and the frontal axis providing a safety barrier not intended to be struck between the holder and attacker.
