Abstract
Techniques are provided for tracking different types of subjects and labeling the tracks according to subject type. In an implementation, the tracking includes tracking first and second subject types using video, and also tracking subjects of the first type using Wi-Fi tags provided to the subjects of the first type. The video and Wi-Fi tracks can be compared in order to identify and label which video tracks are associated with subjects of the first type and which video tracks are associated with subjects of the second type. Upon the tracks having been labeled, interactions between the different subject types can be identified and analyzed.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- tracking, via video, a plurality of subjects of a first type, and a plurality of subjects of a second type, different from the first type, to generate video tracks;
- tracking, via Wi-Fi, the plurality of subjects of the first type to generate Wi-Fi tracks;
- comparing the Wi-Fi tracks and the video tracks;
- and
- based on the comparison, labeling a subset of the video tracks as being associated with the subjects of the first type.
A method comprising:
- tracking, via video, a plurality of subjects of a first type, and a plurality of subjects of a second type, different from the first type, to generate video tracks;
- tracking, via tags, the plurality of subjects of the first type to generate Wi-Fi tracks;
- comparing the Wi-Fi tracks and the video tracks;
- and
- based on the comparison, labeling a subset of the video tracks as being associated with the subjects of the first type, wherein the tags are carried by the subjects of the first type, and are not carried by the subjects of the second type.
A method comprising:
- tracking, via video, a plurality of subjects of a first type, and a plurality of subjects of a second type, different from the first type, to generate video tracks;
- while the tracking, via video, subjects of the first and second type, tracking, via tags, the plurality of subjects of the first type to generate Wi-Fi tracks;
- comparing the Wi-Fi tracks and the video tracks;
- and
- based on the comparison, labeling a subset of the video tracks as being associated with the subjects of the first type.
