Abstract
Provided are an apparatus and method for receiving a multipath signal in a wireless communication system. The apparatus includes a weighting block for receiving an estimated channel gain value output from a channel estimator and outputting an estimated weighted channel gain value and a compensator unit for receiving the estimated weighted channel gain value, reflecting the weight, and compensating, for an estimated channel gain.
Claims22
An apparatus for receiving a multipath signal in a wireless communication system, comprising:
- a weighting block configured to receive an estimated channel gain value from a channel estimator and produce an estimated weighted channel gain value;
- and
- a compensator unit configured to receive the estimated weighted channel value, and compensate for an estimated channel gain by reflecting the estimated weighted channel value.
A method for receiving a multipath signal in a wireless communication system, comprising:
- receiving an estimated channel gain value and producing an estimated weighted channel gain value from an received estimated channel gain value;
- and
- receiving the estimated weighted channel gain value and compensating for an estimated channel gain by reflecting the estimated weighted channel gain value.
