Abstract
Treatment fluids and methods for treating a subterranean formation are disclosed that include introducing a treatment fluid into a subterranean formation, the treatment fluid containing a nanocrystalline cellulose.

A fluid for treating a subterranean formation comprising:
- a solvent;
- and
- a composition comprising a nanocrystalline cellulose.
The method for treating a subterranean formation comprising:
- preparing a treatment fluid comprising at least:
- a solvent, and
- a nanocrystalline cellulose;
- and
- introducing the treatment fluid into a wellbore.
