Abstract
A lubricating grease containing about 75 to 85% by weight of a liquid perfluoropolyether and about 15 to 25% by weight of a particulate boron nitride, preferably monomodal boron nitride having a particle size of about 7 to 10 microns; use of the lubricating grease for lubricating structures subjected to an oxygen-enriched environment and devices containing such lubricated structures.
Claims28
A process for lubricating a structure exposed to an oxygen enriched fluid which comprises lubricating the structure with a lubricating grease comprising about 75 to 85 weight percent of a high molecular weight liquid perfluoropolyether and about 15 to 25 weight percent of a particulate boron nitride having a particle size of about 7 to 11 microns.
A lubricating grease comprising about 75 to 85 percent by weight of a liquid perfluoropolyether having a molecular weight of at least 1000 and about 15 to 25 weight percent of a particulate monomodal boron nitride having a particle size of about 7 to 10 microns.
A lubricating grease consisting essentially of about 75 to 85 percent by weight of a liquid perfluoropolyether having a molecular weight of at least 1000 and about 15 to 25 weight percent of a particulate monomodal boron nitride having a particle size of about 7 to 10 microns.
