Method and apparatus for user directed video editing

A method comprising facilitating a processing of and/or processing (1) data and/or (2) information and/or (3) at least one signal, the (1) data and/or (2) information and/or (3) at least one signal based, at least in part, on the following:

• at least one determination of one or more viewpoints of a live event selected by a remote user;
• at least one determination respective media segments that depict the respective one or more viewpoints, wherein the media segments include metadata of orientation information, geo-location information, timing information, or a combination thereof associated with the creation of respective media segments;
• and
• at least one determination to generate a compilation of at least a portion of the media segments based, at least in part, on the metadata.
