Image analysis for determining characteristics of groups of individuals

A method for predicting one or more characteristics of a group of individuals of the same type, comprising:

• for each of the individuals comprising the group, storing one or more digital images representing the individual in a memory operably connected to a digital computer;
• annotating the one or more digital images with a plurality of reference points;
• computing, with the digital computer, one or more metrics using the plurality of reference points;
• predicting one or more characteristics of the individual based on the one or more metrics;
• and
• predicting the one or more characteristics of the group of individuals based on the predicted one or more characteristics of the individuals comprising the group.

A method for predicting a characteristic relating to a type of individual for an individual of the type, comprising:

• measuring, using a computer, two or more metrics from reference points on a digital image representing the individual of the type;
• calculating, using a computer, a resultant using the two or more measured metrics and a mathematical formula;
• predicting, using a computer, a behavioral or performance characteristic of the individual using the resultant from the calculated mathematical formula for the individual and data about a group individuals of the same type as the individual;
• and
• presenting the predicted behavioral or performance characteristic of the individual.

A system for determining the compatibility of an individual with other individuals comprising a group, comprising:

• at least one processor;
• at least one memory, operably connected to the at least one processor and configured to store data and software code that, when executed by the at least one processor, causes the system to:
• store one or more digital images representing the individual in a memory operably connected to a digital computer;
• annotate the one or more digital images with a plurality of reference points;
• compute, with the digital computer, one or more metrics related to the individual using the plurality of reference points;
• and
• predict the compatibility of the individual based on the one or more metrics related to the individual and indicators of characteristics related to the other individuals.

A computer readable medium comprising a set of instructions for determining the compatibility of an individual with a group that, when executed by a processor comprising a computing device, causes the computing device to:

• store one or more digital images representing an individual in a memory;
• annotate the one or more digital images with a plurality of reference points;
• compute one or more metrics related to the individual using the plurality of reference points;
• and
• predict the compatibility of the individual with other individuals in a group based on the one or more metrics related to the individual and indicators of characteristics related to the other individuals in the group.

A system for predicting one or more characteristics of a group of individuals of the same type, comprising:

• at least one processor;
• at least one memory, operably connected to the at least one processor and configured to store data and software code that, when executed by the at least one processor, causes the system to:
• for each of the individuals comprising the group,
• store one or more digital images representing the individual in the at least one memory;
• annotate the one or more digital images with a plurality of reference points;
• compute one or more metrics using the plurality of reference points;
• and
• predicting one or more characteristics of the individual based on the one or more metrics;
• and
• predicting the one or more characteristics of the group of individuals based on the predicted one or more characteristics of the individuals comprising the group.

A computer readable medium comprising a set of instructions for predicting one or more characteristics of a group of individuals of the same type that, when executed by a processor comprising a computing device, causes the computing device to:

• for each of the individuals comprising the group,
• store one or more digital images representing the individual in the at least one memory;
• annotate the one or more digital images with a plurality of reference points;
• compute one or more metrics using the plurality of reference points;
• and
• predicting one or more characteristics of the individual based on the one or more metrics;
• and
• predicting the one or more characteristics of the group of individuals based on the predicted one or more characteristics of the individuals comprising the group.
