Centralized dashboard for monitoring and controlling various application specific network components across data centers

A system for centralized monitoring of a plurality of networking components in a plurality of datacenters, said system comprising:

• a memory unit that stores a database and a set of modules;
• a display unit;
• and
• a processor that executes said set of modules, wherein said set of modules comprises:
• a device management module executed by said processor that is configured to initialize said plurality of networking components;
• a monitoring module executed by said processor that is configured to (i) monitor said plurality of networking components, and (ii) obtain a performance data of said plurality of networking components, wherein said performance data is stored in said database;
• a dashboard module executed by said processor that allows to customize a dashboard to control, monitor said plurality of datacenters and said plurality of networking components, wherein said dashboard displayed in said display unit;
• a traffic management module executed by said processor that (i) monitors a traffic level in each of said plurality of datacenters, and (ii) displays said traffic level associated with each of said plurality of datacenters in said dash board, and (iii) processes a first input received from said dashboard, and (iv) controls said plurality of networking components in said plurality of datacenters based on said first input, wherein said first input comprises a modification of said traffic level associated with at least one of said plurality of datacenters;
• and
• a user management module executed by said processor that is configured to (i) allows an admin to create a first account for a first user and a second account for a second user and (ii) assigns a first access level to said first user and a second access level to said second user.

A non-transitory program storage device readable by computer, and comprising a program of instructions executable by said computer to perform a method for centralized monitoring of a plurality of networking components in a plurality of datacenters, and wherein said plurality of datacenters comprises a first datacenter and a second datacenter, said method comprising:

• receiving, at a monitoring module, executed by a processor, a performance data from each of said plurality of networking components in said plurality of datacenters;
• storing, at a database, said performance data received from each of said plurality of networking components in said plurality of datacenters;
• displaying, at a display unit, a dashboard that comprises (i) a first traffic level managed by said first datacenter, and (ii) a second traffic level managed by said second datacenter;
• receiving a first input comprising a modification of at least one of said first traffic level and said second traffic level displayed in said dashboard;
• and
• configuring, at a traffic management module, executed by said processor, said plurality of networking components in said first datacenter and said second datacenter based on said first input.
