A method for treatment or prevention of enterochromaffin cell hyperplasia-related diseases comprising administering a composition comprising an effective amount of Quercetin, glycosylated Quercetin or a mixture thereof, wherein the enterochromaffin cell hyperplasia-related diseases are induced by infection or develop after infection.
