Agent for reducing risk in onset of disease ascribable to non-dipper circadian rhythm of blood pressure

A method for increasing magnitude of nocturnal or early morning decline in mean systolic blood pressure of a non-dipper individual, comprising orally administering a animal milk protein hydrolysate containing Ile-Pro-Pro tripeptide and Val-Pro-Pro tripeptide, or a concentrate thereof, to the non-dipper individual,

• wherein said non-dipper individual has mean systolic blood pressure (SBP) of less than 130 mmHg and mean diastolic blood pressure (DBP) of less than 80 mmHg, and shows a less than 10% decline in mean systolic blood pressure during a time period of 0:00-5:00 compared to mean systolic blood pressure during a time period of 8:00-21:00, all as measured brachially every 30 minutes with a 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitor.
