A metering device for metered dispensing of a fluid, comprising a storage container with an opening which is disposed on the side opposite the base, a metering head which is connected, in the operating state, to the opening and has an outlet valve, a pump housing which is connected to the inside of the opening and has an inlet valve which is disposed in the direction of the interior of the storage container, the metering head having a spindle which has a through-channel which connects the outlet valve and the inlet valve.
