A geography puzzle and game platform comprising:

• a puzzle base, the puzzle base comprising:
• a metal layer;
• a plastic base disposed above portions of the metal layer;
• and
• a plastic layer disposed above portions of the metal layer not covered by the plastic base;
• and
• a plurality of magnetic puzzle pieces magnetically attachable to the metal layer.

A geography puzzle and game platform comprising:

• a puzzle base, the puzzle base comprising:
• a metal layer;
• a plastic base disposed above portions of the metal layer;
• a plastic layer disposed above portions of the metal layer not covered by the plastic base;
• a plurality of sensors disposed between the metal layer and the plastic layer;
• a display for displaying puzzle information or game information;
• a speaker for emitting audio;
• and
• a connector for connecting the puzzle base to a computer;
• and
• a plurality of magnetic puzzle pieces magnetically attachable to the metal layer, each magnetic puzzle piece comprising a puzzle piece identification uniquely identifying the magnetic puzzle piece.
