Abstract
In one embodiment of the disclosure, a copolymer and method for manufacturing the same are provided. The copolymer is copolymerized from a composition including: (a) a first hydrophilic monomer, including itaconamic acid, itaconamic salt, or combinations thereof; and (b) a second hydrophilic monomer, including acrylic acid, acrylic salt, acrylamide, or combinations thereof.

A copolymer copolymerized from a composition comprising:
- (a) a first hydrophilic monomer, comprising itaconamic acid, itaconamic salt, or combinations thereof;
- and
- (b) a second hydrophilic monomer, comprising acrylic acid, acrylic salt, acrylamide, or combinations thereof.
A method for manufacturing a copolymer, comprising copolymerizing a composition using a free radical polymerizing reaction, wherein the composition comprises:
- (a) a first hydrophilic monomer, comprising itaconamic acid, itaconamic salt, or combinations thereof;
- and
- (b) a second hydrophilic monomer, comprising acrylic acid, acrylic salt, acrylamide, or combinations thereof.
