A method of controlling pests comprising:
- electrostatically spraying, to pests or to a place where the pests inhabit, a composition containing an ester compound represented by the following formula (1):
A composition comprising:
- an ester compound represented by formula (1):
- the ester compound having a resistivity at 20° C. of not less than 1×103 Ωm but not more than 1×106 Ωm, a viscosity at 20° C. of not less than 1 mPa·s but not more than 10 mPa·s, and a surface tension at 20° C. of not less than 20 mN/m but not more than 40 mN/m.
Use of a composition, comprising:
- electrostatically spraying a composition to pests or to a place where the pests inhabit, the composition comprising an ester compound represented by formula (1):
