A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound having the following formula:
- and derivatives thereof, wherein:
- (a) R is hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, alkoxy, aryloxy, acyl, nitro, or halo;
- (b) n is 3, 4, or 5;
- and
- (c) X is a pharmaceutically acceptable anion.
