Abstract
Disclosed herein are novel 4-anilinofuro[2,3-b]quinoline derivatives of formula (I): or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein each of the substituents is given the definition as set forth in the Specification and Claims. Also disclosed are the preparation processes of these derivatives and their uses in the manufacture of pharmaceutical compositions and in the treatment of cancers.

A compound of formula (I):
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof,
- wherein:
- X represents S, O, or NH;
- R1 and R2, which may be the same or different, independently represent:
- H, halogen, a C1-C4 alkyl group, a hydroxyl group, a C1-C4 alkoxy group, a nitro group, or an amino group;
- and
- one of R3 and R4 is H, and the other is
- wherein R5 is a C2-C8 aminoalkyl group, and R6 represents H or a C1-C4 alkyl group.
