- an airflow diverter configured to provide even distribution of airflow to the electric machine, the air flow diverter comprising a plate, the plate comprises a plurality of openings circularly arranged to form an annular opening, wherein the annular opening has an inner diameter that is larger than the diameter of a circular pattern formed by the axial rotor air passages.
