Abstract
A method for making a carbon nanotube composite film is provided. A PVDF is dissolved into a first solvent to form a PVDF solution. A carbon nanotube film structure is provided and immersed into the PVDF solution. The carbon nanotube film structure is transferred into a second solvent. The carbon nanotube film structure is transferred from the second solvent and dried. A solubility of first solvent in the second solvent is greater than a solubility of PVDF in the second solvent. A boiling point of the second solvent is lower than a boiling point of first solvent.
Claims18
A method for making a carbon nanotube composite film, comprising the following steps:
- (a) dissolving a poly vinylidene difluoride (PVDF) into a first solvent to form a PVDF solution;
- (b) providing a carbon nanotube film structure and immersing the carbon nanotube film structure into the PVDF solution;
- (c) transferring the carbon nanotube film structure into a second solvent, wherein a solubility of first solvent in the second solvent is greater than a solubility of PVDF in the second solvent, and a boiling point of the second solvent is lower than a boiling point of first solvent;
- and
- (d) separating the carbon nanotube film structure from the second solvent and drying the carbon nanotube film structure.
A method for making a carbon nanotube composite film, comprising the following steps:
- (a) dissolving a polymer into a first solvent to form a polymer solution;
- (b) providing a carbon nanotube film structure and immersing the carbon nanotube film structure into the polymer solution;
- (c) transferring the carbon nanotube film structure into a second solvent, wherein a solubility of first solvent in the second solvent is greater than a solubility of polymer in the second solvent, and a boiling point of the second solvent is lower than a boiling point of first solvent;
- and
- (d) separating the carbon nanotube film structure from the second solvent and drying the carbon nanotube film structure.
