Claims22
1-2. (canceled)
A method of increasing angiogenesis and/or arteriogenesis in a tissue of a subject, comprising decreasing the expression and/or activity of LAR in said tissue of said subject.
A method of treating or preventing ischemia in a tissue of a subject, comprising decreasing the expression and/or activity of LAR in said tissue of said subject.
A method of identifying a compound that regulates angiogenesis and/or arteriogenesis, comprising determining the expression and/or activity of LAR in the presence and absence of a test compound, and selecting a compound that increases or decreases the level of expression and/or activity of LAR relative to the level in the absence of the compound, thereby identifying the compound as a compound that regulates angiogenesis.
