A method of making a preparation for use in improving overall strength, increasing fatigue recovery, increasing endurance to exercise, or increasing skeletal muscle mass in a mammal in need thereof, said comprising contacting a composition comprising quercetin, vitamin C, and vitamin B3 with a suitable diluent.
