Abstract
Aqueous free-flowing surfactant compositions having non-Newtonian shear thinning properties are disclosed. These stable compositions include both cationic and anionic surfactants and can suspend water-insoluble particles or partially insoluble components.

1-45. (canceled)
An aqueous free flowing structured surfactant composition, comprising:
- (a) from 4% to 25% by weight of at least one anionic surfactant comprising a trideceth sulfate or a salt thereof,
- (b) from 2% to 6% by weight of at least one cationic surfactant of formula (I):
- wherein:
- R1, R2, R3, and R4 comprise hydrogen, an organic group, or a combination thereof, provided that at least one of R1, R2, R3, and R4 is not hydrogen, and
- X− is an anion,
- (c) optionally, an amphoteric/zwitterionic surfactant, a nonionic surfactant, or a mixture thereof, and
- (d) water,
- wherein the total amount of all surfactants in the composition ranges from 8% to 30%, and
- further wherein the composition:
- is visually semi-translucent, translucent, or opaque,
- possesses non-Newtonian shear thinning properties and a stable viscosity under at least one freeze/thaw cycle, and
- is capable of suspending water-insoluble particles and partially insoluble components.

An aqueous free flowing structured surfactant composition, comprising:
- (a) from 4% to 25% by weight of at least one anionic surfactant comprising a trideceth sulfate,
- (b) at least one cationic surfactant comprising myristl trimonium bromide,
- (c) an amphoteric/zwitterionic surfactant, a nonionic surfactant, or a mixture thereof, and
- (d) water,
- wherein the at least one anionic surfactant and the at least one cationic surfactant are present in a combined amount such that the composition:
- is visually semi-translucent, translucent, or opaque, and
- possesses non-Newtonian shear thinning properties and a stable viscosity under at least one freeze/thaw cycle.
