Abstract
A digital image of the object is captured and the object is recognized from plurality of objects in a database. An information address corresponding to the object is then used to access information and initiate communication pertinent to the object.
Claims36
An aircraft system comprising:
- an aircraft comprising a sensor device configured to acquire a digital representation of a scene having at least one object;
- an object identification platform configured to:
- obtain the digital representation;
- derive descriptors from a portion of the digital representation;
- recognize the at least one object as a target object by comparing the descriptors to descriptors associated with known objects;
- determine object information associated with the target object including an object location;
- and
- enable a device to perform an action based on the object information, including the object location.
