Cup-shaped portable speakers and smart tablet device holder integrated with such speakers

A smart tablet device holder comprising:

• two speakers, each comprising:
• a housing having a cylindrical or tapered cylindrical outer shape, wherein a top surface of the housing defines a plurality of orifices on the top surface and a bottom surface of the housing defines a plurality of orifices on the bottom surface;
• first and second_sound producing devices enclosed within the housing, wherein the first sound producing device is disposed near the top surface of the speaker facing upwards toward the top surface, and the second sound producing device is disposed near the bottom surface of the speaker facing downwards toward the bottom surface;
• and
• an electrical circuit disposed within the housing for controlling the sound producing devices;
• a bridge member disposed between the housings of the two speakers, either mechanically connected to or cooperating with the housings of the two speakers, the bridge member having a support member for supporting a smart tablet device;
• and
• one or more electrical connectors disposed on the bridge member or one of the two speakers and being electrically connected to the electrical circuit of each speaker.
