A communication apparatus having an application, comprising:

• a transmitting unit configured to perform transmission;
• a receiving unit configured to receive a transmission request from the application;
• a determining unit configured to determine, in the case where the receiving unit receives the transmission request from the application, whether or not there exists a plurality of active network interfaces;
• and
• a controlling unit configured to control, in the case where the determining unit determines that there exists the plurality of active network interfaces, the transmitting unit to perform transmission using the plurality of active network interfaces.

A method of controlling a communication apparatus having an application, the method comprising:

• receiving a transmission request from the application;
• determining, in the case where the receiving step receives the transmission request from the application, whether or not there exists a plurality of active network interfaces;
• and
• controlling, in the case where the determining step determines that there exists the plurality of active network interfaces, transmitting using the plurality of active network interfaces.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium that, when executed by a computer, causes the computer to perform a method of controlling a communication apparatus having an application, the method comprising:

• receiving a transmission request from the application;
• determining, in the case where the receiving step receives the transmission request from the application, whether or not there exists a plurality of active network interfaces;
• and
• controlling, in the case where the determining step determines that there exists the plurality of active network interfaces, transmitting using the plurality of active network interfaces.
