Abstract
A control apparatus for regenerative medium voltage inverter is disclosed. The control apparatus controls a switching of a PWM converter unit by generating a voltage compensating a power difference between an input and an output of the PWM converter unit.

A control apparatus for regenerative medium voltage inverter, the apparatus comprising:
- a converter unit configured to include a plurality of power devices, and convert a three-phase power to a DC voltage;
- a gate signal generating unit configured to output a PWM signal which is a switching signal of the plurality of power devices;
- a current controller configured to generate a voltage command from a current command and a measured current and apply the voltage command to the gate signal generating unit;
- and
- a generating unit configured to generate a voltage compensating a power difference between an input and an output of the converter unit, and provide the voltage to the current controller.

A control apparatus for regenerative medium voltage inverter configured to reduce a ripple of a DC-link voltage of a unit power cell combining outputs of a medium voltage inverter, the apparatus comprising:
