Abstract
Lighting apparatus for airports, in particular flush light, having housing with a housing base and a housing top that includes a recess for receiving a light disc. Light disc facilitates the emission of light from a light source, disposed in the interior of the housing, to the surroundings. A light source carrier on which the light source is mounted is attached to a heat transfer block locked in a recess of the housing top such that edges and/or at least partially flat sides of the heat transfer block are in direct contact with the corresponding sides of the recess.
Claims14
A lighting apparatus for airports comprising:
- a housing having a housing base and a housing top,
- at least one light source inside the housing,
- at least one recess in the housing top,
- a translucent cover accommodated in the at least one recess and enabling emission of light from the light source through the translucent cover to a surrounding environment,
- a light source carrier to which the light source is mounted, and
- a heat transfer element, engaged into said at least one recess of the housing top and being detachably mounted to the housing top, wherein at least one of boundary surfaces and at least partly flat sides of the heat transfer element rests directly on corresponding sides of the at least one recess.
A lighting apparatus for airports comprising:
- a housing having a housing base and a housing top,
- at least one light source inside the housing,
- at least one recess in the housing top,
- a translucent cover accommodated in the at least one recess and enabling emission of light from the light source through the translucent cover to a surrounding environment,
- a light source carrier to which the light source is mounted,
- a heat transfer element, engaged into said at least one recess of the housing top, wherein at least one of boundary sides and at least partly flat sides of the heat transfer element rests directly on corresponding sides of the at least one recess, and
- control electronics, being positioned in a cavity of the bottom housing part, said control electronics being connected in an electrically conducting manner with a connection line, and that the light source carrier is a printed circuit board.
