A mobile phone includes a housing (7) formed by an upper housing part and a lower housing part that are integrally structured. At least a part of an upper surface of the housing (7) is made open to form an upper surface opening (11). Inside the housing (7), inner mounted components (a circuit board (8), a key switch board (9), or a battery) are mounted. The upper surface opening (11) of the housing (7) is covered with a key sheet (12). A method for assembling the mobile phone includes inserting the inner mounted components through the upper surface opening (11) into the inside of the housing (7) to be mounted inside the housing (7), and then covering the upper surface opening (11) with the key sheet (12).
