## Abstract

The present disclosure is directed to a method for providing a recommended list of uniform resource locators (URLs) responsive to a uniform resource locator (URL). The method may include identifying, by a server, a plurality of users that clicked on an encoded uniform resource locator (URL) link corresponding to a URL. The server may identify a plurality of encoded URL links clicked by each of the plurality of users. The server may determine a number of users who clicked on each encoded URL link of the plurality of encoded URL links and also clicked on the encoded URL link. The server may enumerate, responsive a request comprising the URL, a list of URLs and their corresponding score based on the determination, each URL of the list of URLs corresponding to one of the plurality of encoded URL links.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method for providing recommended list of uniform resource locators (URLs) responsive to a uniform resource locator (URL), the method comprising:
(a) identifying, by a server, a plurality of users that clicked on an encoded uniform resource locator (URL) link corresponding to a URL;
(b) identifying, by the server, a plurality of encoded URL links clicked by each of the plurality of users;
(c) determining, by the server, a number of users who clicked on each encoded URL link of the plurality of encoded URL links and also clicked on the encoded URL link; and
(d) enumerating, by the server responsive a request comprising the URL, a list of URLs based on the determination, each URL of the list of URLs corresponding to one of the plurality of encoded URL links.

The method of claim 1, wherein step (a) further comprises receiving, by the server, identification of a click of the encoded URL link from each of the plurality of users.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein step (a) further comprises determining, by the server, a decoded URL corresponding to the encoded URL link.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein step (a) further comprises identifying, by the server, the user via a cookie.

The method of claim 1, wherein step (b) further comprises tracking, by the server, clicks on encoded URL links for each user of the plurality of users.

The method of claim 1, wherein step (c) further comprises generating, by the server, a click co-occurrence map that correlates the plurality of users that clicked on the encoded URL link.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein step (c) further comprises generating, by the server, the click co-occurrence map that correlates the plurality of users that clicked on the encoded URL link to the plurality of encoded URLs link that each of the plurality of users has clicked.

The method of claim 1, wherein step (d) further comprises communicating, by the server, a response to the request, the response comprising the enumerated list of URLs and their corresponding score.

The method of claim 1, wherein step (d) further comprises enumerating, by the server, the list of URLS ordered by the number of users who clicked on the encoded URL link corresponding to the URL and clicked on the encoded URL link.

The method of claim 1, wherein step (d) filtering, by the server, the list of URLs based on content.

### Claim 11

A system for providing recommended list of uniform resource locators (URLs) responsive to a uniform resource locator (URL), the system comprising:
a server identifying a plurality of users that clicked on an encoded uniform resource locator (URL) link corresponding to a URL;
a click tracker identifying a plurality of encoded URL links clicked by each of the plurality of users;
a correlation engine determining a number of users who clicked on each encoded URL link of the plurality of encoded URL links and also clicked on the encoded URL link; and
wherein the server, responsive a request comprising the URL, enumerated a list of URLs based on the determination, each URL of the list of URLs corresponding to one of the plurality of encoded URL links.

The system of claim 11, wherein the server received identification of a click of the encoded URL link from each of the plurality of users.

The system of claim 11, wherein the server determines a decoded URL corresponding to the encoded URL link.

The system of claim 11, wherein the server identifies the user via a cookie.

The system of claim 11, wherein the click tracker tracks clicks on encoded URL links for each user of the plurality of users.

The system of claim 11, wherein the correlation engine generates a click co-occurrence map that correlates the plurality of users that clicked on the encoded URL link.

The system of claim 16, wherein the correlation engine generates the click co-occurrence map that correlates the plurality of users that clicked on the encoded URL link to the plurality of encoded URLs link that each of the plurality of users has clicked.

The system of claim 11, wherein the server communicates a response to the request, the response comprising the enumerated list of URLs and their corresponding score.

### Claim 19 (depends on 11)

The system of claim 11, wherein the server enumerates the list of URLS ordered by the number of users who clicked on the encoded URL link corresponding to the URL and clicked on the encoded URL link.

### Claim 20 (depends on 11)

The system of claim 11, wherein the server filters the list of URLs based on content identified by the URL.
