## Abstract

A system and method for generating a snapshot of data associated with one or more cloud-based applications are disclosed. Application programming interfaces (APIs) and connections associated with one or more applications registered and on a server computer and used by a company are retrieved from a table by a lookup. All data associated with the one or more applications based on the APIs and connections are also retrieved. The data associated with the one or more applications is then mapped to a client-specific representation and data format. The data associated with the one or more applications is converted to the client-specific representation and data format.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A computer-implemented method for generating a snapshot of data associated with one or more cloud-based applications, the method comprising:
retrieving, by a lookup using a process engine implemented by one or more processors, application programming interfaces (APIs) and connections associated with one or more applications registered and on a server computer and used by a company;
retrieving, using the process engine, all data associated with the one or more applications based on the APIs and connections retrieved;
mapping the data associated with the one or more applications to a client-specific representation and data format; and
converting the data associated with the one or more applications to the client-specific representation and data format.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

A computer-implemented method in accordance with claim 1, further comprising:
generating metadata representative of the data in the client-specific representation and data format.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

A computer-implemented method in accordance with claim 2, further comprising:
generating, by one or more processors, a visualization of the data associated with the one or more applications in the client-specific representation and data format based on the metadata.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

A computer-implemented method in accordance with claim 1, wherein the data associated with the one or more applications includes one or more business objects.

### Claim 5

A computer program product comprising a machine-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by at least one programmable processor, cause the at least one programmable processor to perform operations comprising:
retrieve application programming interfaces (APIs) and connections associated with one or more applications registered and on a server computer and used by a company;
retrieve all data associated with the one or more applications based on the APIs and connections retrieved;
map the data associated with the one or more applications to a client-specific representation and data format; and
convert the data associated with the one or more applications to the client-specific representation and data format.

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

A computer program product in accordance with claim 5, wherein the instructions further cause the at least one programmable processor to:
generate metadata representative of the data in the client-specific representation and data format.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

A computer program product in accordance with claim 6, wherein the instructions further cause the at least one programmable processor to:
generating, by one or more processors, a visualization of the data associated with the one or more applications in the client-specific representation and data format based on the metadata.

### Claim 8 (depends on 5)

A computer program product in accordance with claim 5, wherein the data associated with the one or more applications includes one or more business objects.

### Claim 9

A system comprising:
at least one programmable processor; and
a machine-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one programmable processor to implement modules comprising:
a cloud service registry associated with a server and on which application programming interfaces (APIs) and connections associated with one or more applications are registered;
a process engine for retrieving the APIs and connections associated with the one or more applications, and for retrieving from the server all data associated with the one or more applications based on the APIs and connections retrieved; and
a snapshot framework for mapping the data associated with the one or more applications to a client-specific representation and data format, and for converting the data associated with the one or more applications to the client-specific representation and data format.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The system in accordance with claim 9, wherein the data associated with the one or more applications includes one or more business objects
