## Abstract

Systems and methods related to gaming based on the results at intervals of a race.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method comprising the steps of:
from one or more sensors at a race event, receiving at least one position or time of at least one race participant at at least one intermediate point within the race event; and
computing in a computer an adjustment to at least one rule characteristic of a computer-simulated game based, at least in part on the at least one received position or time.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, in which
the simulated game includes at least one of a card game, a number-based game, a slot game, a roulette game, and a fantasy sports game.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, in which adjusting the at least one characteristic includes enabling a bonus round of the game.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, in which
computing the at least one position or time includes receiving from the sensor(s) a plurality of positions of the at least one race participant at a plurality of intermediate points.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The method of claim 4, in which
adjusting includes adjusting based on a change in the plurality of positions.

### Claim 6 (depends on 4)

The method of claim 4, in which
the at least one race participant includes a plurality of race participants.
