## Abstract

The present invention relates to methods for identifying and using modulators of FDF03 biological activity in vitro and in vivo that are useful in the treatment of cancer.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method for inhibiting tumor growth in a subject, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an agent that stimulates or enhances FDF03 inhibitory receptor biological activity.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the agent is an agonist or partial-agonist antibody or antibody fragment thereof specific for the FDF03 inhibitory receptor.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2, wherein the antibody is a humanized, fully human or chimeric antibody.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the tumor is a primary or a metastatic tumor.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the subject is a human.

### Claim 6

A method for reducing metastatic burden in a subject comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an agent that stimulates or enhances FDF03 inhibitory receptor biological activity.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein the agent is an agonist or partial-agonist antibody, or antibody fragment thereof specific for the FDF03 inhibitory receptor.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The method of claim 7, wherein the antibody is a humanized, fully human or chimeric antibody.

### Claim 9 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein the subject is a human.

### Claim 10

A method for inhibiting tumor growth in a subject, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an agent that binds to an FDF03 inhibiting receptor and an FDF03 activating receptor.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The method of claim 10, wherein the agent is a bispecific antibody or antibody fragment thereof that binds to the FDF03 inhibitory receptor and the FDF03 activating receptor.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The method of claim 11, wherein the antibody is a humanized, fully human or chimeric antibody.

### Claim 13 (depends on 10)

The method of claim 10, wherein the tumor is a primary or a metastatic tumor.

### Claim 14 (depends on 10)

The method of claim 10, wherein the subject is a human

### Claim 15

A method for reducing metastatic burden, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an agent that binds to an FDF03 inhibiting receptor and an FDF03 activating receptor.

### Claim 16 (depends on 15)

The method of claim 15, wherein the agent is a bispecific antibody or antibody fragment thereof that binds to the FDF03 inhibiting receptor and the FDF03 activating receptor.

### Claim 17 (depends on 16)

The method of claim 16, wherein the antibody is a humanized, fully human or chimeric antibody.

### Claim 18 (depends on 15)

The method of claim 15, wherein the subject is a human.
