## Abstract

An electronic device including a display module including a panel for generating stereoscopic vision, and configured to display a stereoscopic image using the panel; and a controller configured to display a first stereoscopic image, receive a request to shift the first stereoscopic image, and change a negative parallax of the first stereoscopic image to be a positive parallax based on the received request.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An electronic device comprising:
a display module including a panel for generating stereoscopic vision, and configured to display a stereoscopic image using the panel; and
a controller configured to:
display a first stereoscopic image,
receive a request to shift the first stereoscopic image, and
change a negative parallax of the first stereoscopic image to be a positive parallax based on the received request.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The electronic device of claim 1, wherein when the received requests the first stereoscopic image to be shifted to a second stereoscopic image, the controller is further configured to change the negative parallax of both of the first and second stereoscopic images to be the positive parallax.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the controller is further configured to restore the parallax of the first stereoscopic image to an original value when the changing step is finished.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the controller is further configured to adjust an overall negative parallax of the first stereoscopic image to be the positive parallax.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the controller is further configured to adjust the negative parallax of at least one object included in the first stereoscopic image to be the positive parallax.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the controller is further configured to gradually adjust the negative parallax of the first stereoscopic image to be the positive parallax.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The electronic device of claim 6, wherein the controller is further configured to change a moving speed of a left eye's image and a right eye's image included in the first stereoscopic image differently so that the negative parallax of the first stereoscopic image is gradually changed into the positive parallax.

### Claim 8

An electronic device comprising:
a display module including a panel for generating stereoscopic vision, and configured to display a stereoscopic image using the panel; and
a controller configured to:
display a first stereoscopic image,
receive a request to shift the first stereoscopic image to a second stereoscopic image,
gradually move the first stereoscopic image toward a first edge of a screen in the display module in response to the request to shift the first stereoscopic image to the second stereoscopic image, and
gradually change a parallax of the first stereoscopic image according to a distance from the first edge of the screen.

### Claim 9 (depends on 9)

The electronic device of claim 9, wherein the controller is further configured to gradually decrease the parallax of a part of the first stereoscopic image as the part of the first stereoscopic image is moved toward the first edge of the screen.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The electronic device of claim 9, wherein the controller is further configured to:
display the second stereoscopic image to gradually appear from a second edge of the screen in response to the request to shift the first stereoscopic image to the second stereoscopic image, and
gradually change a parallax of the second stereoscopic image according to a distance from the second edge of the screen.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The electronic device of claim 10, wherein the controller is further configured to gradually increase the parallax of the second stereoscopic image as the second stereoscopic image is moved away from the second edge toward the first edge.

### Claim 12

A method of controlling an electronic device, the method comprising:
displaying a first stereoscopic image on a display module including a panel for generating stereoscopic vision;
receiving a request to shift the first stereoscopic image; and
changing, via a controller of the electronic device, a negative parallax of the first stereoscopic image to be a positive parallax based on the received request.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The method of claim 12, wherein when the received requests the first stereoscopic image to be shifted to a second stereoscopic image, the changing step changes the negative parallax of both of the first and second stereoscopic images to be the positive parallax.

### Claim 14 (depends on 12)

The method of claim 12, further comprising:
restoring the parallax of the first stereoscopic image to an original value when the screen shift is finished.

### Claim 15 (depends on 12)

The method of claim 12, wherein the changing step adjusts an overall negative parallax of the first stereoscopic image to be the positive parallax.

### Claim 16 (depends on 12)

The method of claim 12, wherein the changing step adjusts the negative parallax of at least one object included in the first stereoscopic image to be the positive parallex.

### Claim 17 (depends on 12)

The method of claim 12, wherein the changing step gradually adjusts the negative parallax of the first stereoscopic image to be the positive parallax.

### Claim 18 (depends on 17)

The method of claim 17, wherein the changing step changes a moving speed of a left eye's image and a right eye's image included in the first stereoscopic image differently so that the negative parallax of the first stereoscopic image is gradually changed into the positive parallax.
