Abstract
The link for an aircraft comprises at least two portions respectively made of metal and of composite material together forming a common section of a middle segment of the link in a plane perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the link.
Claims22
A link for an aircraft, wherein the link comprises at least two portions respectively made of metal and of composite material together forming a middle segment of the link with both being present in any section of the middle segment in a plane perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the link.
A method of fabricating a link for an aircraft, wherein at least two portions respectively made of metal and of composite material are assembled together in such a manner that together they form a middle segment of the link, with both being present in any section of the middle segment in a plane perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the link, the assembly being made in such a manner that the composite material portion presents, in the middle segment, tension stress in the longitudinal direction when the link is at rest.
