Metal free bleaching composition

The process according to claim 10 comprising

• a) H2O2, a precursor of H2O2, or a peracid and
• b) a compound of formula (1) or (2)
• wherein
• X− is the anion of an organic or inorganic acid;
• R1 is hydrogen, halogen, phenyl, phenoxy, phenylthio, phenyl-(SO)—, linear or branched C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6alkoxy, C1-C6alkylthio, C1-C6alkyl-S(O)—, C1-C6alkyl-SO2—, which C1-C6alkyl is unsubstituted or substituted by OH or (CO)OR6;
• or R1 is linear or branched C2-C3alkenyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by (CO)OR6;
• R′1 has one of the definitions given for R1;
• or R′1 is linear or branched C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6alkoxy, C1-C6alkylthio, C1-C6alkyl-S(O)—, C1-C6alkyl-SO2— which C1-C6alkyl is substituted by (CO)O−Z+;
• or R′1 is linear or branched C2-C3alkenyl substituted by (CO)O−Z+;
• R2 and R3 independently of each other are hydrogen, linear or branched C1-C6alkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by phenyl;
• or linear or branched C2-C3alkenyl;
• or R2 and R3, together with the atom to which they are bonded form a cyclopentyl or cyclohexyl group;
• R4 and R5 independently of each other are hydrogen, linear or branched C1-C12alkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by 1 to 4 OH groups;
• unsubstituted C2-C6alkenyl, C1-C6alkyl which is interrupted by one or more O or C5-C8cycloalkyl;
• or R4 and R5 together with the Nitrogen atom to which they are bonded form a pyrrolidine, piperidine or morpholine group or hexamethyleneimine;
• R6 is hydrogen or linear or branched C1-C3alkyl;
• Z+ is Na+, K+ or NH4+;
• for the bleaching of stains or of soiling on textile materials or for the cleaning of dishes;
• with the proviso that if in formulae (1) and (2) R1, R′1, R2 and R3 are hydrogen, R4 and R5 are not unsubstituted C1-C12alkyl or unsubstituted C2-C6alkenyl.

The process according to claim 10 wherein in formulae (1) and (2)

• X− is the anion of an organic or inorganic acid;
• R1 is hydrogen, linear or branched C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6alkoxy, C1-C6alkylthio, C1-C6alkyl-S(O)—, C1-C6alkyl-SO2—;
• or R1 is S+(R7)(R8)X′−;
• R7 and R8 independently of each other are linear or branched C1-C6 alkyl;
• X′− has one of the definitions given for X− and is same or different;
• or R1 is N+(R9)(R10)(R11)X″−;
• R9, R10 and R11 independently of each other are linear or branched C1-C6alkyl;
• or R9 and R10 or R9 and R11 or R10 and R11 together with the Nitrogen atom to which they are bonded form a pyrrolidine, piperidine or morpholine group;
• X″− has one of the definitions given for X− and X′− and is same or different;
• R′1 has one of the definitions given for R1;
• R2 and R3 independently of each other are hydrogen or linear or branched C1-C6alkyl;
• R4 and R5 independently of each other are hydrogen, linear or branched C1-C12alkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by 1 to 4 OH groups;
• unsubstituted C2-C6alkenyl, C1-C6alkyl which is interrupted by one or more O or C5-C8cycloalkyl;
• or R4 and R5 together with the Nitrogen atom to which they are bonded form a pyrrolidine, piperidine or morpholine group or hexamethyleneimine.

The process according to claim 10 wherein the compound of formula (1) or (2) is a compound of formula (3)

A composition comprising

• a) H2O2 or a precursor of H2O2 or a peracid and

• R1 is hydrogen, halogen, phenyl, phenoxy, phenylthio, phenyl-(SO)—, linear or branched C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6alkoxy, C1-C6alkylthio, C1-C6alkyl-S(O)—, C1-C6alkyl-SO2—, which C1-C6alkyl is unsubstituted or substituted by OH or (CO)OR6;
• or R1 is linear or branched C2-C3alkenyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by (CO)OR6;
• or R1 is S+(R7)(R8) X′−;
• R7 and R8 independently of each other are linear or branched C1-C6 alkyl;
• or R7 or R8 is linear or branched C2-C3 alkenyl;
• X′− has one of the definitions given for X− and is same or different;
• or R1 is N+(R9)(R10)(R11)X−;
• R9, R10 and R11 independently of each other are linear or branched C1-C6alkyl;
• or R7 or R8 or R11 is linear or branched C2-C3 alkenyl;

A process for the bleaching of stains or of soiling on textile materials or dishes in the context of a washing process or by the direct application of a stain remover comprising treating a textile material or dishes in an aqueous medium either by hand or in an automatic washing machine or dishwasher, together with a mixture comprising

• a) H2O2, a precursor of H2O2 or peracid, oxygen or air and
• b) a compound of formula (1) or (2)
• wherein
• X− is the anion of an organic or inorganic acid;
• R1 is hydrogen, halogen, phenyl, phenoxy, phenylthio, phenyl-(SO)—, linear or branched C1-C6alkyl, C1-C6alkoxy, C1-C6alkylthio, C1-C6alkyl-S(O)—, C1-C6alkyl-SO2—, which C1-C6alkyl is unsubstituted or substituted by OH or (CO)OR6;
• or R1 is linear or branched C2-C3alkenyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by (CO)OR6;
• or R1 is S+(R7)(R8)X′−;
• R7 and R8 independently of each other are linear or branched C1-C6 alkyl;
• or R7 or R8 is linear or branched C2-C3 alkenyl;
• X′− has one of the definitions given for X− and is same or different;
• or R1 is N+(R9)(R10)(R11)X″−;
• R9, R10 and R11 independently of each other are linear or branched C1-C6alkyl;
