Selective collection system for recycling input materials having a monitor

A selective collection system for recyclable containers, comprising:

• a housing part to house internal components of the selective collection system;
• a display for displaying information, messages, announcements or advertisements;
• a processor based control device to control overall operation of the selective collection system;
• a material identification device to identify an input material and to transmit a corresponding material identification signal to the control device, which identifies the input material based on the material identification signal;
• a shredding device to shred the input material identified as a plastic bottle by the control device;
• a collection part for receiving the shredded input material from the shredding device and receiving the input material not identified as a plastic bottle without any processing.

A selective collection system for recyclable containers, comprising:

• a housing part to house internal components of the selective collection system;
• a display for displaying information, messages, announcements or advertisements;
• a processor based control device to control overall operation of the selective collection system;
• a material identification device to identify an input material and to transmit a corresponding material identification signal to the control device, which identifies the input material based on the material identification signal;
• a compressing device to compress the input material identified as a can by the control device;
• a collection part for receiving the compressed input material from the compressing device and receiving the input material not identified as a can without any processing.
