Abstract
An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for a universal tracking system. A token module is configured to create a universal tracking token without requiring a user to provide any prerequisites. The universal tracking token is associated with a user by a unique identifier. A user account module is configured to store data associated with a user. The user data includes data associated with one or more universal tracking tokens. The user account is defined as either a merchant or key holder account. Further, a relationship module is configured to maintain a one-to-many relationship between the user account and a plurality of either merchant or key holder accounts. Relationship data is also collected and stored in a database.
Claims28
An apparatus comprising:
- a token module configured to create a universal tracking token without requiring a user to provide any prerequisites, the universal tracking token having a unique identifier associated with a user;
- a user account module configured to store data associated with a user, the user data comprising data associated with one or more universal tracking tokens, the user account being defined as one or more of a merchant and key holder account;
- and
- a relationship module configured to maintain a one-to-many relationship between the user account and a plurality of one or more of merchant and key holder accounts, wherein relationship data is collected and stored in a database;
- wherein the token module, the user account module, and the relationship module comprise one or more of logic hardware and executable code stored on a computer readable storage medium.
A method comprising the steps of:
- creating a UTS token without requiring a user to provide any prerequisites, the universal tracking token having a unique identifier associated with a user;
- creating a user account to store data associated with a user, the user data comprising data associated with one or more universal tracking tokens, the user account being defined as one or more of a merchant and key holder account;
- maintaining a one-to-many relationship between the user account and a plurality of one or more of merchant and key holder accounts, wherein relationship data is collected and stored in a database.
A computer program product comprising a computer readable storage medium having computer readable program code embodied therewith, the computer readable program code configured to:
- create a universal tracking token without requiring a user to provide any prerequisites, the universal tracking token having a unique identifier associated with a user;
- store data associated with a user, the user data comprising data associated with one or more universal tracking tokens, the user account being defined as one or more of a merchant and key holder account;
- and
- maintain a one-to-many relationship between the user account and a plurality of one or more of merchant and key holder accounts, wherein relationship data is collected and stored in a database.
